Tight Race for District in BBall

The Clark varsity boys basketball team defeated Stevens Friday night, 57 – 51.
They are now in a 4 way tie for second place with Brandeis, Taft and Warren.
Marshall is only 1 game behind. There is one district game remaining – they
play Brandeis Tuesday February 17, 6:30 at Paul Taylor. Please come out and
support them!

Girls Hoops Prepares for Play Offs

The Lady Coogs hit the road beginning Monday 2/16/15 to play CC Carroll HS at 7:00pm at the  Victoria
Student Event Center. The ladies had an awesome season with a 27-5 season and a
9-4 in district games. Lady Coogs are currently ranked 9th in the city by
Express and News. Best of Luck Ladies!

JV Tennis Girls Rock

At the Dominion Tournament over the weekend, freshman Meredith Schiele took second in girls singles, while the girls doubles team of Syvoney Ybarra and Kimia Motevasell took first. Claire Lowrie was the winner of the girls singles  consolation draw

Hoopsters Battle for Play Off Spot

The Clark varsity boys basketball team lost in a heartbreaker to Warren on
Friday 60-65. They rallied to beat Taft on Tuesday 47 – 45. They are still
battling for a playoff spot with 2 district games remaining. Come out and
support them on Friday Feb 13 6:00 at O’Connor High school when they play
Stevens.

Individual Season Kicks Off in Tennis

Senior Ricky Keh won the boys singles draw at the NEISD tournament over this past weekend. He also took the sportsmanship award. Fellow Coog Zach Frisbe came in fifth in boys singles, after a quarters loss and then two wins. The boys doubles duo of Johnny Reichman and Chris Todd also came in fifth following a similar path.

Boys Hoops Winning Streak

The Clark Boys Varsity Basketball team won 3 district games, beating Jay 63-56,
O’Connor 62-59 and Brandeis 59-51. They are now in a 4 way tie for 3rd place in
district. Every game is close, so support from the Clark fans is much
appreciated. Their next game is Friday Feb 6 against Warren, 7:30 pm at
O’Connor high school.

Signing Day 2015

National Signing Day is the day most college sports programs sign their chosen athletes. Today, February 4th, 2015, saw five Clark athletes sign on to their chosen college athletic programs.
