Tennis: On to Region

The weather held so the Clark varsity tennis players were able to play their final district matches. Advancing to Region are Zach Frisbie (1st place boys singles), Ricky Keh (2nd place boys singles), Hannah Rafferty (1st place girls singles), and Chris Todd and Johnny Reichman (2nd place boys doubles). Earning third place spots were Martha Dill and Molly Kiehne (girls doubles) and Sergio Martinez and Arantza Gonzales (mixed doubles).

Tennis Girls Advance

Junior Hannah Rafferty will advance to semis in girls singles and juniors Molly Kiehne and Martha Dill will advance in girls doubles in the NISD tourney, which will be held tomorrow at ATC, weather permitting.

District Tennis Day One

Today was the first day of district tournament play for Cougar varsity tennis. Boys and mixed doubles played at Annemarie Tennis Center. Advancing to the semifinal round were Ricky Keh and Zach Frisbie in singles, Chris Todd and Johnny Reichman in doubles, and Sergio Martinez and Arantza Gonzalez in mixed. They will play again Saturday at ATC.

 

Girls will play tomorrow, weather permitting, also at ATC.

Track Runs at NEISD

competed in the North East Invitational
meet last week with some notable results!
This week both teams will be at the Thunderbird

Top Golf Girls

Sophomore Avery Horton was the top ranked district golfer with a score of 80 and 87 at district. Sophomore teammate MacKenzie Walters was second with 91 and 81

Kite Named to All Area Basketball Team

The San Antonio Express News named senior Jorden Kite to its All Area basketball team  Sunday. The 6-4 guard has signed to play with Incarnate Word. Read about it here!

End of the Streak

The Clark varsity soccer boys lost to Reagan last night, ending their incredible 21 game winning streak. The score was 3-1.

The girls also lost to Reagan 5-0.

Soccer District Champs X2

Boys varsity soccer, ranked number one in the city, clinched the district title over the weekend. Girls varsity, ranked number five, nabbed a co champ spot which the ladies will share with Brandeis.

 

Senior Kendall Traa was given a Game Ball by the SA Express News for her two goals and two assists in wins over Warren and Taft.
