For the second time in as many meets, the Clark Cougar boys 4x100m relay team (Travis Cooke, Brandon Yates, Malcolm Eatman, and Brian Socha) set a new Clark record at the NEISD Relays. Their time of 42.27 beat the previous record, which they set this weekend in the SAISD meet (42.37).  Prior to that, the record was 42.50 set in 2005 by Adam Sauer, Brandon Mills, Ross Vale and Jerrell Wilkerson.

Austin Wells also broke the 1600m record at the South San meet on March 4th.  He ran a 4:25.43 which broke the old record held by Jesse Mader set in 2000 with a time of 4:27.06.
Several other Cougars also did well at the NEISD Relays.  The boys team placed 3rd overall.  Ryan Jones placed 3rd in the 100m, Kyle Rutledge placed 2nd n the High Jump, James Kueber placed 1st in the Shot Put and 3rd in Discus, and Clark also was 1st in the 4x200m relay.

The Clark girls placed 7th overall led by Shantel Swift who was 1st in the 200 meter run and 2nd in the 100 meter. Shantel was also 1st in the Triple Jump at 37′ 4.5″ and Rebekah Washington placed 2nd in the High Jump.
