In a great weekend for Cougar basketball, both the boys and girls teams had very successful tournaments.

The boys beat #5 Plano West on a last second shot to end up in the championship game in the South Padre Island Invitational tournament. In the championship game, the Cougars rallied to defeat Houston 2nd Baptist 60-56 to take home the tournament trophy.

The girls also played in the championship game in the Austin Bowie tournament but fell a little short against Stony Point, taking 2nd place.
