Clark Softball Wins

Clark softball won a close one against first place Taft 2-1 at Northside on Tuesday. The runs didn’t come until the 6th inning when both teams scored. Clark had 7 hits for the game and Taft had 3. Henessey Soto was on the mound for Clark and gets the win.

This is Taft’s first district loss and further tightens the 27-5A race. Taft and O’Connor are tied for first with 8-1 district records while Clark and Brandeis are next with identical 6-3 records in district. Next up is Marshall on Friday at 5:00.
