The Clark Cougar varsity Cross Country competed in the 27-5A district meet. Shantel Swift finished 7^th for the girls, and Austin Wells finished 2^nd for the boys. They will advance to the Regional meet to be held next Saturday at the National Shooting Complex near Taft High School.

Congratulations to these two Cougars and Coach Anne Ager and the entire Cross Country team on a very successful season!

New cross country assistant coach Mark Pedroza is featured in the Conexión section of the newspaper this weekend.  New to Clark, along with Head Coach Anne Ager and assistant coach D’Layne Kelly, they’ve taken the teams to new levels.  You can find out more here.

Please keep Coach Anne Ager in your prayers as her father, Dr. Steven Ager, passed away on Jan. 13th following a battle with cancer.  Coach Ager is the Assistant Athletic Director and Cross Country and Women’s Track coach.
