Two seniors on the 2009 Clark Cougar football team have been named to the Texas High School Coaches Association Academic All State team. Linebacker Tim Sanchez was named to the 1st team and quarterback Hayden Greenbauer made the 2nd team.

These honors represent hard work in the classroom and on the field. Congratulations!

While the names behind the line might be familiar, the names on the line might not be.  In this article, those Clark Cougar varsity football players get some of the recognition they deserve for the success of this year’s team.

With the cancellation of the Spring football game and coming off an appearance in the state semifinals, any news on next year’s team is welcome.  Pat Turner, who does a great job of following Clark Cougar teams, has a great article on what’s going on with the 2009 edition of the Clark Cougar football team.
